About

My name is Vraja Vilasini Devi Dasi. My full name means that I am a servant of

Vilasini (Srmiati Radharani) who enjoys pastimes in Vraja.

I have been practicing Bhakti Yoga since 2008, which is the process of offering loving devotional service

to the Lord and His devotees. I am an initiated disciple of His Holiness Bir Krishna Goswami Das

and the spiritual granddaughter of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada,

the Founder-Acharya of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness or ISKCON.

As well as my sadhana, I am personally guiding families on their own Krishna Consciousness journeys.

My Facebook page is aimed at helping people to learn that You're Not That Body, which is based on my

Guru Maharaj's book of the same name, and spiritual teachings from the Vedas,

which have been translated for us by Srila Prabhupada himself.

I completed 350 hours of Yoga Teacher training in 2014, which included training in meditation and pranayama.

I completed 500 hours of Ayurvedic Wellness Coaching in 2018. I completed the Degree of Bhakti Sastri, which is Vedic Philosophy, in 2022. I also continue to hold Senior First Aid certification & Cert IV in Training and Assessment.

I base my teachings around yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda, which we must consider

as a holistic practice, truly incorporating the mind, body, and spirit.

The spiritual works in these teachings are my interpretation. Please forgive me if I misspeak. This is my humble attempt to share the Lord with each and every one of you. I pray for my Spiritual Master's guidance.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga (Yoga means ‘union with the Supreme’) and means ‘life science or

knowledge of life'. It is the oldest form of medicine, originating in India, and was translated from Sanskrit.

We take our understanding from nature and how we relate and respond to it.

Ayurveda helps us to be fit, well, and strong physically as yoga does spiritually.

My aim is to teach you to identify the symptoms of imbalance before you become unwell. By understanding

your body, you can live a full healthy life and avoid being or feeling unwell. If we do become unwell, we

have an alliance of medical practitioners, to refer you to if extra help needed is beyond our means.

Ayurveda helps us to understand our dosha, and how we are affected by the seasons and our environment. It is individual and the time frame to find balance and wellness can vary depending on the person’s illness and how it has evolved as well as how much effort they take to help themselves.

I can't wait to serve you. Much love, Vraja xx.

What is Yoga?

Yoga means ‘union with the Supreme’ and is a physical, spiritual, and mental practice with roots in India.

Many of us come to the physical practice, or asana, to lengthen, strengthen and relax our bodies.

While these are all true benefits, you will come for the physical and stay for the spiritual.

As above, yoga is the union or uniting with the Supreme. This practice unites our mind, body, and spirit, along

with the individual self or our soul, with the SuperSoul or the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Yoga asana or postures, are the physical practice, asana meaning 'seat' or 'place'. Each pose or posture has its own Sanskrit name, but there is no need to learn each and every name, as you will be guided through your practice.

Yoga asanas can be used to help with many physical, mental, and emotional conditions including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, lung expansion, relaxation, flexibility, and strength. Your practice is your own, with you getting back as much as you put in. You can practice in a class, in private lessons, at the beach, or on your patio.

While there is a lot more to yoga, this will be the foundation of any practice that you may start. If you only choose to go this far, that is perfectly fine, don't feel that you need to be stretched for anyone else's benefit.

I can't wait to serve you. Much love, Vraja xx.
