Namaste and welcome. I am Vraja.
My name is Vraja Vilasini Devi Dasi. My full name means that I am a servant of
Vilasini (Srmiati Radharani) who enjoys pastimes in Vraja.
I started living the Ayurvedic or Yogi Lifestyle slowly, after meeting some inspiring teachers in 2008. While I was successful in my work life, the rest of my life was wildly out of balance. I was drawn to these beautiful souls who were sweet and loving and so incredibly calm that I wanted to spend time with & be like them, to live their life.
Before long, I had embraced this lifestyle and after benefiting in every way possible, I came to understand that we can all live a happy, healthy lifestyle while healing our own bodies. We don't have to give everything up and live in the forest, it is available to anyone and everyone and I love that! I now live to share these teachings with you.
After getting a taste of the yogi lifestyle, I attended 350 hours of Yoga Teacher Training in 2014, which included training in meditation and pranayama. After teaching for some time, I found that my students were wanting more than just a class, they wanted to live my life, just as I had wanted to live the life of my first teachers.
I completed 500 hours of Ayurvedic Wellness Coaching in 2018, which gave me the structure to share all of this with you. I share this because I can honestly say that it is life-changing on every level. Having seen myself go from being stressed out, having high blood pressure, and being totally out of balance to being so happy and having people ask me to teach them my secrets, is very humbling & at the same time, an incredible service opportunity.
I now help others to live a balanced and healthy life based on their unique mind-body type. With this personalized approach, I can help you to identify the root cause of health issues you may be experiencing and provide natural lifestyle options to alleviate them. I want you to become healthy, happy, and healed by guiding your lifestyle choices.
I am naturally drawn to Vedic Philosophy, so I chose to study in 2022 & completed the Degree of Bhakti Sastri.
While I don't teach this too much, it is wonderful for my personal growth & I can lightly weave it into my offerings.
As well as my sadhana or practice, I am personally guiding families on their own spiritual journeys.
My Facebook page is aimed at helping people to learn that You're Not That Body, which is based on my
Guru Maharaj's book of the same name, and spiritual teachings from the Vedas.
I base my teachings on yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda, which we must consider
as a holistic practice, truly incorporating the mind, body, and spirit.
